Lutterell Hall: Project to decide its future approved at council meeting

At the full council meeting this evening at Rushcliffe Arena, plans to evaluate the future of Lutterell Hall were approved.

This approves the project to decide the future of the hall – not necessarily its disposal.

Opposition councillors were strongly critical of the way the proposed marketing has been handled so far.

A request to hand in a petition against the proposals was not granted.

The council clarified that ‘This is not a report to dispose of the hall’ but the start of a process.

The council said that they will appraise bids to keep the hall in community use.

The petition to save Lutterell Hall has 2,861 signatures at 7:42 pm on 11th June.

More detail soon.
