The M1 is closed in both directions between J36 and J37 (between Hoyland and Barnsley) due to a South Yorkshire Police led incident.
Traffic is being diverted:-
Northbound, follow the solid square symbol.
Exit M1 at J36, take the 1st exit on to the A61. Travel on the A61 until the roundabout with the A616. Take the 3rd exit onto the A616 until the junction with the A629. Turn left on to the A629 and continue on this road until the A628 junction. Take the 3rd exit on to the A628 and rejoin the M1 at J37.
Southbound, follow the hollow triangle symbol
