Leave the M1 at J21 and head south-west on the M69 to J1 of the M69 at Hinckley. Then head south-east on the A5 to Lutterworth and then head east on the A4303 to re-join the M1 at J20.
Delays are likely on the approach to this closure, with additional journey times also expected on diversion routes.
Currently, delays on the approach to J21 are less than 10 minutes.
AA Roadwatch reports:
‘One lane closed due to rolled over vehicle on M1 Northbound between J20 A4304 Lutterworth Road (Lutterworth) and J21 M69 (Leicester). Traffic is coping well. Lane three (of three) is closed due to an accident on the opposite carriageway.’
