Lanes 2 and 3 ( of 3) are now open on the M1 southbound in #Leicestershire between J23 (Loughborough) and J22 (Leicester) following the earlier vehicle fire. Emergency services still remain at scene and are working in lane 1. There are delays of 30 minutes.

‘Two lanes closed, queueing traffic and delays due to car fire on M1 Southbound between J23 A512 Ashby Road East (Loughborough) and J22 A50 (Coalville / Ashby-De-La-Zouch).
‘Traffic is getting past in lane three (of three) after a temporary hold to extinguish fire.’
