Road users travelling northbound are advised to follow the solid diamond diversion symbols on road signs.

Exit the M1 at J23 and travel via the A512 towards Ashby-De-La-Zouch and the A42 to re-join the M1 at J23a.
Road users travelling northbound are advised to follow the hollow diamond diversion symbols and use the route above in reverse order.
Road users are advised to expect delays on the approach to the incident and allow extra time for their journeys.
