A vehicle fire is causing delays on the M1 northbound.
National Highways said at 8:30 pm:
‘Traffic has now been released on the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire between J24A (for Derby) and J25 (for Nottingham). 2 lanes (of 4) remain closed whilst the fire service remain on scene with the burnt out vehicle.
‘There’s over 2 miles of congestion on approach.’

‘Delays of nine minutes and delays increasing on M1 Northbound between J24 A50 (Nottingham South / East Midlands Airport) and J25 A52 Brian Clough Way (Nottingham / Derby). Average speed ten mph.’
