An overhanging tree on a live lane has closed part of the M1 motorway.
National Highways said at 1:52 pm on Thursday 13 July:
‘Lanes 1 and 2 are CLOSED on the M1 northbound between J21a and J22 near Leicester due to an overhanging tree in a live lane.
‘National Highways service providers are en-route to scene.
‘There are currently delays of 30 mins and approx. 5 miles of congestion.’
