A collision has caused three lanes to be closed.
National Highways said at 2:35 pm 1 October:
‘Three lanes are closed on the M1 in Nottinghamshire northbound between J26 and J27 due to a collision.
‘Highways Traffic Officers and Nottinghamshire Police are in attendance.
‘One lane is currently running past the scene. There are currently 30 minute delays.’

‘Severe delays of 14 minutes and delays increasing on M1 Northbound between M1 (Trowell Services) and J27 A608 Mansfield Road (Hucknall / Underwood). Average speed ten mph.’
