The M1 between J28 and J29 northbound is affected by the incident.
Highways England closed two lanes of the M1 at around 10:30 this morning ( 26 May ) to allow emergency services to attend.
One lane remains closed – in an update Highways England said at 11:37:
‘Another lane reopened so now 1 lane of 4 closed whilst recovery and road surface inspections take place. Our thanks to
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit for their assistance.’
By noon all lanes had reopened.
