The road was part-closed earlier today.
Highways England traffic officers dealt with the incident on the A38 northbound between the B600 and the M1 near to junction 28.
All traffic was held for an hour or so, and then the overturned car was moved into lane 1 to allow some traffic to move past the scene.
The vehicle has now been recovered, a spillage has been cleared, and the lane closure has now been removed.
The A38 Northbound between the B600 and the M1 J28 has now been fully reopened.
