Highways England traffic offers are delaying with the animal.
Highways England said:
‘UPDATE: M1 southbound J25 to J24A has three lanes back open. One lane is still closed southbound to deal with this cow.
‘Thank you for your patience.’

Earlier this morning the M1 southbound J25 ( A52 Nottingham Derby ) to J24A ( A50 Derby ) traffic was completely closed due to a cow in the carriageway. Traffic Officers are currently at the scene.’
