Nottingham City Council’s Loxley House HQ is currently affected by a power failure.
A spokesperson for the council said at 11 am on Thursday 13 March:
‘Due to a power outage at the Council’s HQ, a number of our systems are still down.
‘This is affecting our WiFi, phonelines, payment systems, and some online services.
If you have an appointment at Loxley House today with the Council or DWP, this will need to be rearranged – please don’t come to Loxley House.
‘Please note that we currently do not have access to any bulky waste collection appointments. As a result, residents expecting a collection today or in the coming days will not receive one.
‘Additionally, any reports submitted via our online reporting system, such as fly-tipping, litter, litter bins, dog fouling, and graffiti cannot be processed, as our cleansing team is unable to receive these transactions.
‘Teams are working to resolve this as quickly as possible and we’ll keep you posted and apologise for any inconvenience caused.’
