Man, 54, dies after road collision earlier today in Nottingham

Gregory Boulevard remains closed between Alfreton Road and Radford Road junctions following the incident.

Police crash investigators have confirmed that a 54-year old man has died following a collision in Radford earlier today (Saturday 4 July 2020).

Officers were called to a collision between two cars on Radford Road at around 9.50am.

Gregory Boulevard remains closed between Alfreton Road and Radford Road junctions following the incident.

Detective Sergeant Adam Cooper from Nottinghamshire Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are appealing to anyone who was travelling along Radford Road around the time of the collision to contact us with any information that they think could help our investigation.

“Since the incident was first reported, our team have been working to understand the circumstances surrounding the collision and we are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the collision on dashcam footage.

“We are still encouraging drivers to avoid the area.”
