A 60-year-old man has died following a house fire in Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire.
Fire crews from Misterton and Gainsborough were called to a property on Moorland Close at 8.11pm on Tuesday 20 October.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that a joint investigation with Nottinghamshire Police has concluded and the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
Group Manager Richard Leighton, of Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life following this fire. On behalf of everyone at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the gentleman’s family, friends and loved ones.
“Thank you to all emergency responders and our joint control room for your professionalism throughout this sad incident.
“Crews will be in the area to offer support to local residents.”
