A man has been arrested after officers forced entry to a house in Bulwell Forest yesterday.

Officers broke down the door of a house in Charlock Close at around 8am as part of a drugs warrant.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.

Suspected class A and class B drugs were seized after items appeared to have been thrown from the back of the house.

Officers were assisted in their search by the force’s highly trained drugs dogs and a specialised neighbourhood support unit.

Police Sergeant Oliver Vale said: “This warrant is the latest in a series we’ve carried out in the Bulwell and Bulwell Forest areas.

“This is part of our proactive work to tackle the supply of class A drugs, which is a priority for us in this area of the city.

“I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in their area to come forward. There may be work we have to do in the background first, but we will always act on reports related to illegal drugs.”
