Man arrested and charged after burglary in Loughborough Road West Bridgford

A 35-year-old man appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with a burglary in West Bridgford.

Jason Kelley of no fixed address, is charged with burglary in connection with an incident in Loughborough Road where items were taken from the ground floor of a house.

Officers received a report that a woman had been burgled and a member of the public had help to detain the man.

Inspector Craig Berry said “We were called at around 4pm on Friday following the incident.

“Officers quickly attended, and with help from the member of the public, made the arrest.

“The man has since been charged and remanded into custody after appearing at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this morning.

“Burglary is a local priority for Rushcliffe and Nottinghamshire Police takes burglary very seriously and will investigate all reports thoroughly.
