A man was arrested at the scene of a break-in after police swiftly responded to calls of a burglary in progress in St Ann’s.
Nottinghamshire Police received a report at around 5.25am today of two men breaking into a boarded-up property in Ransom Road.
Officers arrived within minutes and arrested a 49-year-old man inside the address on suspicion of burglary.
Following checks, the suspect was further arrested on suspicion of failing to comply with requirements of being on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
The suspect remains in custody while police continue with their investigations.
