A man has been arrested following a street disturbance in Hucknall.
It follows a confrontation in Rykneild Road at 12.23am yesterday (Sunday), when a man was seen in possession of a knife.
Officers quickly attended and arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place. A knife was also recovered.
PC Philip Broughton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were on the scene quickly and dealt with the incident. Weapon-related incidents are treated seriously by Nottinghamshire Police.”
