A man has been arrested after a car was reportedly rammed into at around 50mph.
Police attended an address in Silbury Close, Clifton, at around 11.50 pm yesterday (15 October) after receiving reports that a man was refusing to leave an address.
Officers had previously spoken with the victim after attending a road traffic collision in Farnborough road, Clifton, at around 1am on 15 September 2021, where it was reported that the suspect had allegedly driven into the back of a car she was in as the vehicle came to a stop at a roundabout.
The 33-year-old victim was said to have suffered back pain as a result of the collision.
A 41-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and stalking and remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
Detective Sergeant Nicola Faulkner, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our officers acted quickly to find the suspect in this matter and arrest him and our enquires into this incident are continuing.
“We take reports of stalking very seriously and want to encourage anyone who might be experiencing this to contact us immediately.
“But we would still like to speak with anyone who may have information that could assist us in our investigation and anyone who may have any video footage that captured the incident on 15 September 2021.”
