Man arrested on suspicion of affray after incident in Sneinton

PUBLISHED:

Officers were called at around 11.40am on Monday 22 April following reports of an assault outside a shop in Sneinton Dale, Sneinton. A 14-year-old boy and a 50-year-old man were assaulted by four men and sustained minor injuries.

At around 11pm we were called to the same address, following a report of a group of men who appeared to be carrying weapons. A 33-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy sustained injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering. The group also smashed windows at the shop and damaged the interior.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with this incident.

We believe there were five men involved and our enquiries continue to locate anyone else involved in these incidents.
