Man arrested on suspicion of Environmental Protection Act offences in Bleasby

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police and Environment Agency officials executed a search warrant at an address in Main Street, Bleasby, shortly after 6am this morning 20 April. 

Police said:

‘A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Environmental Protection Act relating to the disposal of rubbish. He remains in police custody.’

Sergeant Dave Wardle, of “Nottinghamshire Police regularly works in partnership with government agencies and is currently working to support this investigation by the Environment Agency.

“Officers from our operational support team attended an address shortly after 6am this morning and have since left the scene.”
