Police investigating a disturbance inside a pub have charged a suspect with multiple offences.
Officers were called to the Butter Cross, in Market Place, Bingham, shortly before 3pm on Thursday and evacuated the premises.
David Shaw, aged 41, has been charged with affray, causing criminal damage over the value of £5,000, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of assault by beating.
Shaw, of no fixed address, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (17 June) and was released on conditional bail.
He is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 14 July.
