Man charged after cycle stolen in Nottingham burglary

Following enquiries a man was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the allegations.

A man is due in court after a report of a bicycle stolen during a break-in.

Aaron Nelson, aged 30, from Lismore Close, Radford, is set to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 15 October) charged with burglary and possession of a Class B drug, namely Mamba.

The burglary charge relates to the alleged theft of a bike from a property in Waverley Street, Forest Fields, on 6 September 2021.

 

Detective Constable Louise Jackson, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I’d like to reassure our communities that we take all reports of burglary very seriously and we will relentlessly pursue individuals believed to be responsible for these sort of upsetting crimes.

“We want the public to feel safe in their own homes. The force will investigate reports and continues to work tirelessly to further reduce burglary and bring offenders to justice.

“We are determined to keep doing everything we can to keep our local communities safe and prevent crime which are priorities we remain committed to.”
