A man has been charged and remanded in custody following a burglary at an Asda store in West Bridgford.
Police in the town’s neighbourhood policing teams said that goods worth £6,277 were stolen.
Police said the case was progressed quickly, with officers preparing evidence for the Crown Prosecution Service to secure the charge and remand.
Two officers were involved in compiling the case file and supporting the prosecution process, working extended hours to ensure the evidence was submitted. The suspect remains in custody following the court decision.
