A man has been charged following a reported burglary.
Officers were called after a homeowner returned to his house in Southchurch Drive, Clifton, to find that a phone and an electronic tablet had been taken.
The tablet is reported to have then been sold on to someone.
Michael Peck, 47, of London Road, Derby, has been charged with burglary and fraud by false representation in relation to the incident, which is believed to have happened just before 4.55pm on Tuesday 14 September.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Friday 24 September 2021).
Detective Constable Louise Jackson, from Nottinghamshire Police’s burglary team, said: “Burglary can have a huge impact on victims as in any such incidents their privacy has been breached in a space which they should be able to consider as safe.
“We will always look to investigate thoroughly when we received such reports and in turn hope to provide comfort to those who have been subjected to this.
“A man has now been charged in connection with this incident and our enquiries continue.”
