Police responded within minutes of being called to Mabel Grove in West Bridgford at around 3am on Monday 26 April when a man was reported to have suffered facial injuries in the attack.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, however, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Cameron Gordon, 34, of no fixed address, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday 27 April) charged with grievous bodily harm with intent in connection with the incident.

“Luckily, the victim in this case is expected to make a full recovery.
“We are pleased to have charged a man as part of our investigation, we take reports of violence very seriously and will always thoroughly investigate them in order to take appropriate action against offenders.”
