Man charged after stabbing in Radford area of Nottingham

A scene was put in place while investigation work was carried out.

A man has been charged following a stabbing in Radford.
Officers received a report of a man sustaining stab wounds following an incident at an address on Gregory Boulevard, shortly after 9 pm on Friday (6 December).

A man in his 40s was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre and treated for injuries that are not life-threatening or life-altering. He has since been discharged from hospital.

A scene was put in place while investigation work was carried out.

Jeremy Mullings, of Gregory Boulevard, Radford, has been charged with wounding with intent.

The 48-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, 9 December).

Detective Inspector Lisa Jones, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We believe this was an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public.
“We hope the charging of this suspect will reassure local residents who may have been concerned by the police activity that took place at the address over the weekend.”
