Police have charged a suspect over reported sexual assaults on three women, who were out walking with their children, and allegations girls were approached by a man as they walked home from school.
The alleged incidents happened on 7 September 2022 in the Bramcote area.
Two women were reportedly slapped on the bottom and a third woman rubbed on her back.
Investigations were also carried out after reports a group of girls were approached by a man who asked them for their names and the school they went to before they ran off.
Following inquiries, a man was subsequently arrested.
A 36-year-old man, from the Stapleford area, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and a further count of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour. He will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
Detective Constable Sarah Kirk, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We treat reports of this nature extremely seriously and we will always do everything we can to identify and arrest suspects and bring them before the courts.”
