Police were called after a man was reported to have been in possession of a knife in Barnston Road in Sneinton at around 1.30pm on Monday 12 April.

No one was reported to have been injured in the incident.

Leon Hartley, 46, of  Sneinton, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 20 April charged possession of a bladed article in a public place as part of the investigation.
