A man has been charged following an assault which left a man in hospital.
Police were called about a man being attacked after an incident was reportedly spotted on a social media live-stream.
Officers made their way to an address in Mansfield Road, Nottingham city centre, at around 4am on Thursday 10 February 2022).
A man was taken to hospital, where he remains. He is receiving treatment and is in a serious but stable condition.
Declan O’Donnell, 23, of Mansfield Road appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (11 February 2022) charged with causing grievous bodily harm and affray.
He has since been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday 11 March 2022.
Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers responded very quickly when the video was brought to their attention and as a result a man was brought into custody a short time later.
“A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, for which he continues to receive treatment.
“A suspect has since been charged and as the investigation is ongoing officers will continue to support the victim.”
