Man charged on fake firearm, drugs and bladed weapon offences

A 24-year-old man has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident in Hyson Green.

It follows a report that a man was shot at following a verbal altercation in the Radford Road area at around 6.15pm on Sunday 11 August. No one was hurt in the incident.

Marius Radu, of no fixed address, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 19 August).

Radu has also been charged with possession of a bladed article and going equipped to steal in Argyle Street, Radford, on 17 August; a shop theft at Boots, Nottingham, on 11 May; and possession of cannabis, possession of mamba, failing to stop a motor vehicle and driving without insurance in Gregory Boulevard on 14 June.
