Man charged over attempted robbery at a Nottingham convenience store

A man has appeared in court charged in connection with an attempted robbery at a convenience store.

A 30-year-old man from Bulwell is charged with attempted robbery and criminal damage.

The charges relate to a report of an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Commercial Road, Bulwell, at around 3pm on Wednesday (27 October).

The suspect appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (29 October) and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 29 November 2021.

PC Dan Widdowson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The force takes reports of robbery very seriously and continues to work hard to reduce violent crime in our communities and keep people safe.
