Detectives investigating a stabbing in Bobbers Mill earlier this week have charged a suspect.
Emergency services attended Cyril Avenue following an assault there, around 11.30am on Monday (10 November).
A man was found at the location with injuries not believed to be life-altering, having been stabbed once to the chest.
Ryan King was arrested by police within a few hours of the offence being reported.
The 29-year-old has now been charged with wounding with intent.
King, of Radford Road, New Basford, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court earlier today (12 November).
He was remanded into custody ahead of a future appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 10 December.
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Gould, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We hope the speed with which a charge has been secured in this case provides the public with some reassurance.
“Tackling knife crime will always remain a priority for this police force and anyone deemed to be involved in this type of offending should expect to find themselves brought before the courts.”
