A man has appeared in court charged with supplying Class A drugs following police raids in a Nottingham neighbourhood.
Officers from the city south Operation Reacher and neighbourhood policing teams executed a series of warrants in The Meadows in the summer of 2023.
They seized large amounts of heroin and cocaine when they forced open the doors at a property in Meredith Close on Friday 23 June.
Two men, aged 22 and 46, and a 38-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and remain on police bail.
A further suspect was arrested this week after a detailed police investigation.
A 20-year-old man from Nottingham, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (22 December) charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
He was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 18 January 2024.
Inspector Steve Dalby, neighbourhood policing inspector for The Meadows, said: “Class A drugs destroy lives so we work hard on gathering intelligence, executing warrants and using the evidence gained in these raids to pursue suspects.
“I would urge anyone with information about drug dealing in their area to tell police. We will always listen and take appropriate action.”
