A man caught dealing drugs from a moped outside a Nottingham pub has been jailed.
Zisis Bouros had a stash of cocaine, ketamine and magic mushrooms hidden in a storage area underneath the seat of the motorbike.
He was spotted by officers from the knife crime team emerging from a pub in Carlton Road, before engaging in a transaction with a suspected drug user at 4.50pm on 24 June 2026.
Officers took the decision to follow the moped along Carlton Road where it was ridden into a supermarket car park.
Bouros was detained and searched, with cash and drugs found in his clothes and larger quantities of cocaine, ketamine and magic mushrooms found concealed in the moped.
Bouros, aged 28, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
At Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday (12 August) he was sentenced to one year and eight months in jail.
Police Constable Daniel Cresswell, of the knife crime team, said:
“By being out on patrol, we were able to observe a drug deal taking place and pursue this dealer.
“He was using his moped to deal harmful drugs on the street and we caught him red-handed with a number of these substances as well as cash.
“When we detained him, Bouros claimed not to be able to understand us, but he was clearly communicating easily enough with his customers.”
