Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the unexplained death of a man who was found outside an apartment block.
Officers were called to George Street in Nottingham city centre shortly before 10pm on Monday (1 August 2022).
The man received medical attention at the scene but died later in hospital.
Detective Sergeant James Hirst, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our thoughts are with this man’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
”We are currently treating his death as unexplained but the injuries he sustained were consistent with a fall from height.
“At this time there is no evidence to suggest his death was suspicious. Our enquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please get in touch with us.
“We are particularly keen to talk to a man we believe was in the George Street area at the time of the incident and who may have vital information which could assist us with our investigation. I would urge him to please get in contact with us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with any information is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 864 of 1 August 2022, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
