Man falls out of first-floor window as intruder attacked him in his Nottingham home

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a report that a man was attacked with a pole before he fell out of a window during an aggravated burglary at a home in Aspley.

It was reported that the victim was sleeping upstairs when an intruder entered his home on Watford Road and attacked him.

As he was attacked the victim moved backwards and fell out of a first-floor bedroom window to the floor.

The victim sustained cuts and bruises and a broken arm requiring hospital treatment. He was later discharged.

Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances of this incident.
