Detectives are investigating after a man was found injured in Beeston last night 20 August.
Officers were called to Queens Road shortly before 6.30pm following reports that a man had been assaulted.
The incident happened close to the junction with Alexandra Crescent, with a number of individuals present.
Police attended and located a man in his 30s with a small puncture wound to his chest.
He was taken to hospital and discharged a short time later after treatment.
Following inquiries, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody.
Inquiries to trace other individuals involved in the incident are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Simon Harrison, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we are pursuing a number of lines of inquiry, including checking CCTV footage, to establish the full circumstances.
“We believe this was an isolated incident and at this time it appears to have been a targeted attack. We do not believe anyone else was injured.
“Anyone who was in the area who saw what happened or has any information that could assist our inquiries, including anyone who may have recorded CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to call the police on 101, quoting incident 553 of 20 August 2024.”
