Man found not guilty of murder after Meadows incident


A man has been found not guilty of murder, manslaughter and possession of an offensive weapon following a trial at Nottingham Crown Court over the death of Neil Thomson.

Shaun Thomson, 28, formerly of Causeway Mews, The Meadows, was acquitted by a jury yesterday (Thursday 11 September 2019) after telling the court that he’d acted in self-defence following an incident at an address in The Meadows on 5 November 2018.
