Man found seriously injured in a Nottingham city street – police ask for public’s help

His condition is currently described as serious but stable.

Police are seeking the public’s help after a man was found collapsed in a street with a head wound.

The 35-year-old was taken to hospital after he was located in Curzon Street, in the city centre, at around 5am on Tuesday (5 October 2021).

His condition is currently described as serious but stable.

Detectives are working hard to establish what happened to him and are urging anyone who was in the area and saw anything to get in touch.

Detective Sergeant Andy Buxton,  from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “At this stage we are keeping an open mind with regards to how the man sustained his injuries and we are appealing for any information from the public which may assist us with our enquiries.

“The area where the man was found is overlooked by student flats and we are urging anyone who may have seen something or anyone who may have captured CCTV, dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the incident to please come forward.”
