Man found with head injuries in Nottingham after suspected robbery

PUBLISHED:

Police have arrested two men on suspicion of robbery following reports of an incident in Long Row, Nottingham, earlier this morning (Saturday 25 May 2019).

A man was found lying on the floor with head injuries at about 4.30am. Two men are believed to have stolen items from the victim.

The 54-year-old victim was taken to hospital. His injuries are currently not believed to be life-threatening.

Officers are continuing to investigate the circumstances and how the man sustained his injuries and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch. Our enquiries are ongoing, including checking CCTV.

Two men, aged 27 and 25, have been arrested this morning on suspicion of robbery and remain in police custody.
