Detectives investigating a serious assault in which a man was found with multiple injuries have charged a suspect.
Officers were called to a house in Longmead Drive, Daybrook, after the victim was found with severe injuries at around 7.15pm on Monday evening 18 April.
The victim was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre to be treated for injuries described as life-altering.
Sebastian Teos, of Palm Street, New Basford, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent. The 26-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (22 April).
Meanwhile, three other suspects arrested in connection with the incident have been released on conditional bail.
Detective Inspector Daniel Johnstone, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a very serious assault and I am pleased we have now been able to bring a charge in this case.
“I hope this development reassures people that Nottinghamshire Police treats violent crime extremely seriously and we will do everything in our power to put suspects before the courts.”
