Rushcliffe patrols were checking for correct documents, speeding and other offences.
Officers conducted further speed checks this week on Shelford Road, Radcliffe on Trent and spent time proactively searching for vehicles without tax, insurance or MOT across Rushcliffe South.
Police said:
‘As a result, those found using vehicles without the correct documents in place have been reported for the relevant driving offence.
‘Other offences established during stops were possession of cannabis and the most unusual offence was the use of a vehicle with a loaded number of persons carried likely to cause danger.
‘On this occasion, a passenger was located in the rear of the van smoking cannabis. Driver and passenger have been reported.’
