Man in court on charges connected to Radford robbery

Police have charged a man in connection with a robbery in Radford.

Usman Azam, 31, of Mickleborough Avenue, Nottingham, has been charged with one count of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.

He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 13 December 2018) and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 10 January 2019.

The robbery charge relates to a report of an incident in Holden Street, Radford, on 30 November 2018.

A man was stabbed to the face and another had personal items stolen from him during the incident.
