Man attacked on his own doorstep in Nottingham

A man in his was attacked on his doorstep in Colwick Road Sneinton.

Police have arrested three men after a man was assaulted on his doorstep.

The victim, who is aged in his 30s, was attacked in the Colwick Road area of Sneinton at around 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 April 2022).

He was taken to hospital with injuries which are not currently thought to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Officers were on scene within minutes and quickly carried out enquiries.

A car which was spotted travelling at speed in the area was stopped by police and three occupants were detained.

A 19-year-old man and two 20-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in custody.

Detective Inspector Ruby Burrow, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident, including checking CCTV, and we are urging anyone with any information or recorded footage to come forward.

“Violence of this nature will not be tolerated on our streets and the force will always do everything in its power to protect the public and ensure that those believed to be involved in violent crime are dealt with quickly and appropriately.”
