Police have issued images of two people they’d like to speak to after a robbery in Nottingham.
A 32-year-old man was walking home from a night out when his mobile phone was snatched from him on Goldsmith Street.
The victim chased after the person responsible but was then repeatedly punched by the thief and an accomplice.
The incident happened at around 1:30 am on 30 November.
Detective Sergeant Frank Guddemi, who is overseeing the investigation, said:
“This was a nasty robbery that left the victim requiring treatment in hospital.
“Thankfully, his injuries were not serious, but nevertheless, this was a traumatic experience for him and we are determined to trace those responsible.
“Having reviewed CCTV, we believe the two men in this image will be able to assist the investigation and I’d urge them to come forward.
“Likewise, please get in touch if you recognise them.”
