Man in hospital after Range Rover hits cyclist on Melton Rd West Bridgford – driver failed to stop

A man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Nottinghamshire Police is appealing for information after a collision between a car and a cyclist.

 

Officers were called just before 2.52pm yesterday (10 September) to a report of a collision between a Range Rover and cyclist where the driver of the Range Rover drove away from the scene.

The incident was near the Carnarvon Road / Devonshire Road junction.

A man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Police Constable Stephen Piper, who is investigating the incident, said: “Our investigation to locate the Range Rover is well underway as we work to understand the circumstances around the incident.

“I would like to thank those members of the public who have assisted with our enquiries and encourage anyone who hasn’t already come forward to do so.”
