Man injured in gas explosion in Beeston Rylands


Officers were called to Leyton Crescent in Beeston Rylands following reports of a gas explosion at around 7.30am today (Tuesday 3 December).

A man was taken to QMC for treatment which are believed to be life-threatening.

The property’s windows and doors were blown off following the incident.

Officers believe the incident is non suspicious and accidental.

Officers remained at the scene this morning and continue to work closely with the Fire Service.
