Man jailed for West Bridgford vape shop burglary just 48 hours after crime committed


A man has been jailed in connection with a shop burglary in West Bridgford earlier this week.

Nottinghamshire Police was called just after 1.40am on Wednesday 11 September 2019 following a break-in at the 888 Vape store in Tudor Square. A window was smashed to gain entry and a large quantity of vaping devices were stolen.

Raymond Ward, 26, of Phoenix Close, Nottingham, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (12 September 2019).

He was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £150 compensation, after pleading guilty to burglary.
