Man stabbed in the stomach in Nottingham disturbance

Police are appealing for information after a man was reportedly assaulted.

Officers were called to Hardy Street, the Arboretum, shortly before 7.50pm on 22 April following reports of a disturbance in which a man injured.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the stomach and was taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries which fortunately were not life-altering.

Enquiries, including reviewing CCTV, have been ongoing since the incident and officers have now released images of eight people they would like to speak to as the investigation continues.

Anyone who has any information, recognises the people pictured or has any CCTV footage is being asked to get in touch.

Investigator Victoria Batterham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A man was left needing hospital treatment after suffering injures to the stomach following the disturbance.

“Thankfully their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

“Our investigation has been on going since we received the report but we are now seeking the public’s help to try and trace these people. Any information, no matter how small, could be greatly beneficial to our investigation.

“We are now asking for the public’s help to help us identify the people pictured as we believe they may have important information which could help us, so we would ask anyone who may recognise them to get in touch with us.”
